The Paramount Theatre in downtown Seattle might not get as many big productions as The 5th Avenue, but when it does – it’s usually worth seeing.   Show aside, inside the Paramount is an experience in itself.  So when a worthwhile musical shows up there – don’t hesitate.   Love the Paramount…. understand?

Wicked, Broadway’s mega musical is touring and visiting Seattle till October 4th.   I’m not judging, but who in their right mind would pass up the opportunity to see a prequel to The Wizard of Oz and learn how the Wicked Witch of the West  and Glenda the Good Witch grew up and set off on their separate paths.   Depth people!   Depth.

Advice:  pre order your cocktails for intermission before the show starts, that way you can roam around the lobby and people watch rather than stand in line taking your first sip just as the lights start to blink.
